I was feeling really sick today , I think it was the heat!! Its been HOT lately! Anyways, I was to sick to take myself to the appointment, luckily Adrian woke up early and was able to take me.
When we got there I started to feel better. When I met with my OB she informed me that the baby is doing EXCELLENT! and so am I. I got to hear little Mia's heart beat and it is as strong as ever.
I walked out of that appointment on cloud nine! and feeling ALOT better. I would write more but I am way tired now, I will have to post more later.

(In the Eyes of Mia) I got to see Baby Koa this weekend!
Current mood: hungry
Mamma took me on a trip this weekend to visit my friend from heaven Koa! It sure was hot that day, I could tell because not only was my nest warmed up but Mamma kept trying to drown me with tons of water!
When we got to where we were going I heard alot of unfamiliar women's voices and I got alittle scared. I layed there quietly till all of a sudden I heard a familiar voice! It was my friend Koa!!! I haven't talked to him since we both were floating on clouds in heaven! He was telling me how happy he was and how he will make his grand appearance real soon. I can't wait till we can meet up again this time on earth!
I had fun, Mamma fed me some good ol fashion Philipino food (mmm...lumpia..) and some chocolate strawberry cake! I was very happy.
Well Mamma has a doctors appointment for me soon so I need to let her know I am hungry so she can feed me. See you later!!

(In the Eyes of Mia) An adventure in San Diego
Current mood: cheerful
Today I had another adventure. My Mama and Daddy took me to this place in San Diego where I would get my video and picture taken. At first I was alittle shy and attempted to hide behind my feet and hands, but when I did that it seemed to cause a BIG earthquake around me! It wouldn't stop! I was scared yet very courious to see what was going on. So I peeked from behind my feet and hands and noticed it was just another one of those picture taking machines being rolled around me. So I decided to pose alittle and flash a smirk. When I did this I could hear Mama and Daddy and some stranger lady go "awwwwwwww". Yep, I have that kind of effect on people. I heard them talk about my cheeks, I don't think they are big, but they do provide good face coushioning. Overall, the trip was fun. Afterwards Mama and Daddy fed me my FAVORITE food, drunken noodle from the little Thai place in San Diego! It was fresh and hot just the way I like it. Oh yea and I heard my Daddy get attacked by a cat in Petsmart! That was funny!
Well I am off to snuggle up in my little nest. It was a fun day!

4-D Ultra-Sound
Current mood: blissful
We just got back from our 4-D ultra sound appointment we had in San Diego today. It was AMAZING! so crazy to actually see our little one in color! .. well in golden color but still not black and white. She was hiding at first... of course... by bunching herself up. Her tiny feet and hands were covering her face and they had to shake my tummy alot to get her to move haha. She finally did and gave the camera a cute little half smile smirk! (Just like her Daddy does!) Her cheeks are HUGE! and sooo pinchable. The tech couldn't get enough of her cheeks. She definately has Cardoso cheeks. I even compaired our pictures to Adrian and his bro's baby pictures and sure enough there are the cheeks. She is so adorable. The pictures we have don't do justice to the real thing but I wanted to post them anyways. I am on cloud nine as always and so is Adrian. I will write more later but right now I need to rest... to much excitement for one day!!

I haven't been that active today or yesterday. I pooped myself out doing too many cartwheels the other day so I have been sleeping alot more than usual. I heard Mama and Daddy talking about taking me to a place in San Diego this weekend so they can take my video and pictures! I am a shy baby so I think I might hide... I wonder if they will be able to find me

First of all, I just want to say THANK YOU! for all your prayers for my baby. We FINALLY got some news on the ultra sound!!!
When I didn't hear from the doctors all week, I decided to email my OB. They just emailed me back with the following news:
"Hi Anglea,
Good news! The kidneys appear to be normal on the last ultrasound. Your 3 hour glucose tolerance test is within normal limits, so you are not diabetic. Blood count is essentially normal too. Hematocrit is 36.0 slightly low, however the hemoglobin is 12.7 so you do not require extra iron."
YAY!!! so I am not diabetic, nor anemic but best of all the baby is healthy and normal!!!!!
I am off to celebrate!!!

(In tthe Eyes of Mia) Hey wheres the food?!?!
Current mood: adventurous
Today was a weird day for me. For some reason my Mama stopped eating. I over heard her talk to Daddy about going to the doctor for some test, but I wasn’t paying much attention, I was to busy seeing how hard I could kick Mama in the bladder. I always laugh when she runs to the bathroom because of me.
At first when I didn’t get my usual snacks, I just thought Mama was being lazy. But when hours past by and I still didn’t get any food, I began to get alittle annoyed! I started punching and kicking and rolling all around to remind Mama that "hey I need to eat!" but she didn’t seem to listen.
The next thing I now we went on a car ride and I fell asleep. I was later woken up by the sounds of old people coughing and little kids screaming. Then Mama drank something that didn’t make me feel to good. At first it gave me a rush and I did a few laps in her tummy, but then I got sick and just went back to sleep.
I later woke up to my Mama taking me for a walk. I could feel the warm sun on her belly which is a treat since she never seems to leave the house anymore. However, I was still feeling alittle sick. I wanted to go home, but we ended up being at that place for hours! Finally my Mama drove us home and gave me some food! YAY! Now I feel better.
What a day, well I am off to curl up and go to sleep so I can wake my Mama up at midnight so she can grab me a snack!

Worst 3 hours ever!

Well I wasn’t able to go to the lab for the glucose testing yesterday because when I tried to fast for 12 hours like they told me to, I couldn’t last more than 6. That is when the severe stomach ache, head ache and growling tummy kicked in. I decided to try to make it into the doctor today for my 3 hour glucose testing. I did manage to starve myself but it was AWFUL!!!! My last meal was at 7:30pm and I didn’t get to eat again till 11:00am! Also, sitting in the stuffy waiting room for a total of 4 hours was no fun. Especially when you become so hungry you get nasious. I did manage to make it the full 3 hours and with the nurses taking turns on drawing blood from each of my arms. (A total of 4 times, 5 viles total.. and I am still brusied from the blood they drew last week )Well, it is over, THANK GOODNESS! Though I haven’t received the final confirmation from the doctor, I did manage to check my test results online. It does look like my results are normal and I may NOT have gestational diabetes afterall. YAY! I hope that is right. As for now I am still recovering from not eating and my body is slowly starting to feel better. No food or water for 15 hours total is not easy, especially me who since my pregnancy have become an eating machine! I am still waiting to hear the results of the baby’s ultra sound and if we get good news from that, I can finally rest easier and breathe a bit better... that is till baby Mia climbs up my rib cage and sits on my diaphram making it hard to breathe haha.
I’ll write again later when we find out more info, till then I am off to bed

Follow up Ultra-sound

I am so tired right now so I will have to make this blog alittle short. Today was the big day, baby Mia’s follow-up ultra sound to see the progress of her kidney’s. It was in Riverside so we had to leave a little early to get there. Overall, the testing went well. When I started to feel light headed and sick (from being flat on my back) they actually elevated the bed so I would feel better. (Unlike last appointment with them, were I nearly fainted and almost threw up in their office from being on my back to long) However, I was still positioned in a way where I could not see the monitor Adrian on the other hand got a great view of his baby girl which made things much better. His face lit up so much when he got to see her. and seeing that made my day. I know Daddy loves his little princess. Anyways, after they took their measurements and confirmed for a 3rd time that she indeed has "girl parts" they did something we both didnt expect. They moved up her due date again!! So now she is due July 1st. When the tech was done, she showed me the monitor. YAY! I got to see my little one’s face and her trying to cover it with her tiny hands. It was so adorable I choked up and teared up. I saw a tiny glimpse of our fast approaching future. I couldn’t believe how big she is getting and how much she is filling out. We did get some new pictures but I will have Adrian scan them later, I am way to tired to do that right now. The pictures aren’t as nice as the last ones but it is something. We plan on doing the 4-D ultra sound this weekend. I hope we will be able to.
Overall she is doing good. We find out her results in a couple of days. Please keep her in your prayers and hopefully she will be just fine. As for me tomorrow is another big day. I go in for my 3 hour long glucose testing I have to fast for 12 hours and already I am feeling hungry. I will post about how that goes later. As for now I am off to bed.

(In the Eyes of Mia) Just Saying Hi

Hello! I am feeling happy today. I have been kicking Mama more than ever and I even got her to laugh about it once. I heard her tell Daddy about me rolling around. I know my Mama has been alittle upset with stuff lately so I am making sure to keep her happy by reminding her I am here and doing good. I am off to take a nap now, all this kicking has worn me out.
Test Results

Well I got a call from the Doc office and turns out I tested High on my gestational diabetes test Its not positive, but I do have to go back this week and take that 3 hour long glucose test to see if I do have it. As for my liver panel, I also got a high reading on my white blood cell count, but my OB needs to call me on that to see what that means.
This blows, yet another thing on my plate to worry about, but ah well. I’ll take every day 1 day at a time for now. Wish me luck on my test and that my little ones ultra sound this coming Monday checks out fine oh and that my court hearing against my ex employer goes in my favor this Friday. Yea I got alot going on
