Mia meets the Easter Bunny.... again!

Current mood: sick

Its that time of year again... the Easter Bunny has hopped into town. We are trying to make it a family tradition that Mia not only takes a photo with Santa during Christmas time, but also takes a photo with the Easter Bunny during Easter time.

Since my Dad is only in town for a couple more days, I made it my mission to make sure he got to see his little Granddaughter take her special picture. I have been fighting the pregnancy sickness forever! and it still has a horrible hold over me. However, I knew today was the day no matter what, Mia was going to meet the bunny!!!

So I took one of my sickness pills, popped in a Preggie Pop, and with my sea-bands on both wrists I was ready to go. I still felt awful but I was not going to let it get to me... I was on a mission!

Last year, we had to go to Riverside (almost an hour away) to the Tyler Mall in order to meet the Bunny. I wasn't looking forward to that drive AT ALL! Luckily Adrian came to the rescue and found out that the Bunny was also at the closer Temecula Mall! YAY! So we loaded up the car and off to the mall the four of us went... well 5 if you include the little baby in my tummy haha.

Once we got to the mall I dressed Mia in her cute new Easter Dress! Yes it was in the parking lot but we did it quickly. We rushed over to the bunny and there he was... sitting on his throne! This bunny looked alot different from last years bunny. Infact he looked more like a dog that a rabbit but I didn't care, with Mia in the picture no one would pay any attention to the rodent... err... rabbit anyways! haha

Adrian put Mia on the Bunny's lap while my Dad and I were shooting video and taking picture of our own. Mia did great as always, didn't even get scared. She still refused to smile, but that is pretty typical for Mia. She just stared. The Bunny helpers tried and tried to get her to laugh but she wouldn't budge. They even tried tickling her with what looked like a giant feather duster and that didn't work. At one point they started using this clappy thing in her face and Mia got mad and gave the lady the meanest look!! Eventually after taking a TON of pictures we decided she had enough. She got a lollipop treat and off we went to pick out the picture we wanted.

Overall the experience was fun as always. You never know what to expect with little Mia. I am just glad she cooperated and we got a nice picture out of it... and I am grateful that she didn't end up pulling on the whiskers like she did to the Bunny last year! haha
