Current mood: excited
SHE DID IT!!! She FINALLY rolled over all by herself on the floor! After trying and trying, last night she finally managed to roll over, however, her arm (though she finally did get it from under her) was still pinned to her side and she cried.
Then today she started trying again and again. Talk about a determined baby! Then it happened and of course Mama and Daddy missed it. She just had to wait for that exact moment where we had our eyes off of her.
What happened was this, she was laying on her mat on the floor and watching the football game with Daddy. (Yes, the Chargers lost...) I was cooking Caldio de Papa and was just about done. We needed some cheese so Adrian had to run off to the store, but he needed to shower first. So he asked me to watch the baby while he ran upstairs. So I covered my soup, lowered the flame and walked over to the living room to check on the baby and she was on her tummy!!!!! I was like "Oh my gosh oh my gosh Baby you did it!!" She looked up at me and smiled, screamed and was so happy and proud of herself. She was fully on her tummy and supporting herself with her hands. So I ran and grabbed the camera to take a couple of pictures, then she started crying. I picked her up, all excited and encouraging and celebrating but she kept crying. Then I noticed the smell.... yea she had a present for me in her diaper.. poopies!!!! No wonder why she didn't want to stay on her back haha. So I changed her cleaned her all up. Shared the story with Adrian then put her back on her mat and sure enough, she got the knack of it because she kept doing it over and over. However, she doesn't know how to get back so she starts crying and I have to roll her back on her back. She seems to get a kick out of rolling over though its really cute. I even uploaded a quick video of it. Anyways, its time for me to get her bath ready. I just had to share the story!!!
