Current mood: shocked
My Dad said it best when he said "Wow she sure does things in spurts!". There will periods of time where she just plays normally and its a plain ordinary day..then BAM she starts right up with doing new things left and right. Today was no exception!
She is always on the move and always getting into mischief! She is my little Travisita! for sure! If shes not tearing into the box of packed DVDs, throwing them all over the floor... shes zooming around trying to see what else she can pull off of the couch or chairs. Anyhow, today she decided to be adventurous once again. This time she decided to climb into her little blue toy chair that was sitting up against the couch. She tried and tried then while I was looking away....I looked back and there she was sitting in the chair all by herself! I was shocked, grabbed the camera which is never to far away and got some pictures of her climbing around in the chair. She would stand in the chair while grabbing the back of it and would rock herself. It was really cute to watch. Eventually she got down and crawled away.
Then about and hour later she was back in the chair again! only this time she became braver! (I think it was because Daddy was laying on the couch next to her blue chair) and she decided to try to climb onto the couch! We didn't think she would get it but sure enough after a couple of failed attempts she got up there! All by herself! I was frantically looking for the camera to capture this momentous occasion but I couldn't find it!! ACK! The whole event was like the lunar moon landing "one small step for Mia... one giant leap for Babykind!" haha It was happening in slow motion, she had half of herself on the couch and half on the chair then eventually she pulled her way all the way up! We both cheered her on the whole time. I just wish I would have had my camera handy, when I did finally find it she was already on the couch playing. I took some pictures anyways... being the proud Mama I am, no picture is ever wasted! After rejoicing some more and playing on top of the couch I eventually put her back on the floor and she crawled away.
I am so proud of my little brave baby! What a big girl she is today! Guess she wanted to do something special on her first Cino De Mayo! haha
