Current mood: excited
As you know, Mia has been practicing and practicing how to walk while someone holds her hands. She crawls up to you, pulls herself up on you leg and reaches out for you to grab her tiny hands and have her walk with you. Once you start walking with her she takes off with speed, she wants to run already!! haha The laughs and giggles the whole time, she just loves it! This started around the time my Dad was visiting a couple of weeks ago.
Then she graduated to letting go of furniture to stand alone. She can stand there for a few seconds but then falls on her butt or grabs back onto the furniture for balance again.
However, starting last night, she now lets go of the furniture, stands there, turns and tries to take a step forward all by herself!!! I saw her do it for the first time last night and was so excited for her! I cheered at her and after she fell on her butt she was all proud of herself and smiley. Then she crawled away. I thought this was a one time thing but she did it again this morning!! She let go, turned and tried to take a step, then fell!!
