Current mood: pleased
Another first for Mia! Shes been standing by herself when put up against the side of the couch recently, however, yesterday she actually pulled herself up by herself!
Adrian was laying on the couch and I was "spotting" Mia as she was leaning on the couch in front of Adrian (while standing). Then she sat down in my lap. Adrian and I were talking then all of a sudden, Mia reached out to the top of the couch and with her tiny muscles struggling and shaking she managed to pull herself all the way up into the standing position!!!! Adrian and I were shocked and quickly celebrated! YAY MIA!
She is getting so big so fast! Now that she mastered crawling all she wants to do now is stand. If you try to put her down in the sitting position she quickly stiffens her legs so you have to have her standing. She can't balance herself in the standing position alone yet, but she can if shes leaning against the couch.
Anyways I just had to write about that before she woke up from her nap.
