Current mood: stoked
Before I go to bed, I had to write another quick blog about a few new things Mia did today.
She pulled herself up into a semi-standing position on something for the first time. She did it to her papasan chair all by herself out of the blue. I was shocked and grabbed the camera then she did her other first...
She knealed down then sat down all by herself!!! She has been getting so close to sitting on her own from the crawl position and today she finally did it. Granted she did it from a semi-standing position but hey she did it yay!!
The third thing was she finally learned how to use her big girl toy. She can pick up the tiny ball and place it in the swirly spiral part of the toy and watch it roll down to the ground. Adrian has been showing her how to do this for awhile and she did it once on her own about a week ago but couldn't do it again. However, today she learned to do it all by herself without anyone showing her. She kept doing it over and over. I did manage to catch it on video which I will have to upload it soon.
The other new thing she started doing is mimicking. If I say "ta" she says "ta" if I hit my leg she will hit her leg. When Adrian hits his mouth with his hand and makes noises (like an indian), she will hit her mouth with her hand and make noises. Now you can just say "aba ba ba" to her and she automatically starts hitting her little fist on her mouth making noises like "ab ba ba ba" Its really cute!
I am so proud of my little one! Well just had to share that! now its off to bed for me!
