Current mood: accomplished
Whoa! I can't believe in just two short little months my little baby girl will be 2!!!! Where does the time go!? She is growing and changing so much so fast its really becoming hard to keep up! I am so very proud of her though, and she never ceases to amaze me!
Well this month has definately been a roller coaster ride for us. Mia is finally starting to talk more and repeat words, she growing like a weed and we are quickly running out of clothes for her AND shes won her first pageant! Can't top that! What a great month!!
And now onto my summary.... (I have to finish this before princess Mia wakes from her royal nap!)
SUMMARY:
She helped celebrate my 30th birthday with me!
We went to Oxnard to Celebrate my Birthday
She quickly made friends with her Cousin April (3 years) and were soon unseparatable
Plex is her all time favorite toy and he goes EVERYWHERE with us, she even held him throughout her Pageant!
She slides down slides all by herself now
She rides her bike and car forward now and zooms all over the place
She blew out her first candle (on my birthday cake! She did this twice!)
Went to San Diego for her Cousin Emily's 6th birthday and we found out she does not like to let go of Pinata sticks and threw a HUGE fit in front of everyone because of it
Mia made me throw up more than once, from changing her horribly stink poopie diapers!
Played her first game of pin the tail on the donkey
Loves to color with sidewalk chalk
She finally talks on the phone
She won Miss City of Menifee!!!
She loves to chase ducks
She loves to chase animals (especially our cat) and says "GO! GO!!!"
We took a walk to the Emu farm and she loved watching all the animals
She tries to fake us out by pretending shes asleep. With me she quickly shuts her eyes if we make eye contact and with Adrian she will fake snore!
She ate her first homemade tortilla (I made them) and loves them!!! She no longer eats corn! haha
She climbs in and out of her crib by using her big girl bed
She is finally trying to say new words and copies words from TV
She says "Bye Sister" ALOT... not sure why? is it a clue to what I am having?!
She LOVES flashcards and Dada works with her everyday with those
Her new favorite show is "Read between the Lions"
We have been implementing a reward system for her and since then she has less and less tantrums
Has become extremely attached to both Adrian and I. When I am not around she always calls out "Mama... Mama" when Adrian isn't around its all "Dada? Dada!" She always wants us both by her side at all times
GOALS MET FROM LAST MONTH?
Talking has been a HUGE thing this month!! Everyday, literally, she says a new word! I am so proud of her with that, she is finally trying. As for adding a new thing to her diet, we recently found out she will tolerate Kraft Mac and Cheese! YAY!!! So on those busy nights where I am to tired to cook I can bust out that Mac and Cheese. Diaper changes have also finally become tolerable only because we have implemented a reward system for her. If she stays still and doesn't fuss she gets a sticker!!!
GOALS FOR NEXT MONTH:
Be able to put two words together other than "Bye Dada, Mama or Sister" and Eat a new type of food.
