Today was a pretty fun day! It started off with a HUGE surprise at my doorstep. My parents had flowers sent to me for Mother's Day!! I was so surprised and happy, they are so beautiful. Right away Mia wanted to sniff the roses and wouldn't stop. When I finally took the flowers away she blew up so I had to let her sniff them more! Shes a flower monster! haha
Later in the day, we went out to Toys R Us to shop for Mia! Ya I know, even on Pre Mother's Day we end up shopping for her! haha But shes getting so big so fast that she needed some upgraded toys.
She was pretty good in the store considering she wanted to touch everything and have all the toys. She never cried. We ended up buying her a tiny ball (that was unexpected but she really liked it) a popcorn rolling popper thing, some blocks, and a clock puzzle. WOW! I know what a spoiled little girl!
After we were done shopping we decided to go out to eat. Since restaurants are completely INSANE on Mother's Day we decided to go out to eat today instead of tomorrow. I choose one of my favorite restaurants, The Original Roadhouse Grill! We have not eaten there in such a long time. Unfortunately we were unable to get a table that allowed high chairs! Uh-Oh! So Mia was graduated to a booster seat! To our shock (since the last time she used a booster seat it went horrible wrong and our dinner was ruined) this time she did GREAT! Never one did she try to get out of it and she sat there and colored most of the time! She even ate her Mac and Cheese which is nearly impossible for her to eat at restaurants!!! We were so happy! She was so good! She really earned all her new toys!!
When we got home I let her play with the new toys. She had a blast with her new blocks and pop corn popper! When it was bedtime, she went down without a peep!!! What a great day!
Well now I need to go rest. I over ate, as usual, so I am going to go veg out on the couch for awhile! Can't wait till tomorrow when the spoiling continues!!! haha
