Yes I know its 2am and I should be sawing logs but Mia's little sibling demanded I eat and apple and so here I am.
Anyways, if you remember earlier last week I mentioned how Mia has been trying to fake me out into believing shes asleep when I lay down with her during bed time? She does this by tightly shutting her eyes closed every time we make eye contact. Well I have a story for you that happened tonight that I think takes the cake!!
Due to some outside and unexpected circumstances, Adrian got to work from home tonight. I thought it was a nice treat. Well right before I went to bed I checked on Mia (like I always do) and I noticed that her room had become a bit stuffy. She was sleeping on her tummy in her bed. I wasn't sure if I should attempt to turn on her fan and wake her up, turn on the AC or leave her door open... so I did the next best thing. I left the decision up to Dada!!! haha Well, Adrian happened to be in the restroom downstairs so I wrote him a note and left it on his work laptop letting him know. I thought maybe he'd turn on the AC or do something. (He likes to manage the AC since he thinks I set it too low all the time haha) I then went to bed.
When I got up to eat this apple he had this story to tell me...
He said he read my note and went to her room. He slowly and quietly opened her door. It was very dark in her room (her night light isn't very bright) and he could barely see her on the bed. She was laying still on her back with her arms stretched out. He figured she was asleep and decided to open her window to let in some fresh air. As he walked to the other side of the room he heard her make a weird smacking noise. He stopped and stared at her for about a min. Then suddenly (without her moving at all) he heard her make her famous fake snore!!!! HAHAH!! She was trying to act like she was sleeping!!!! He knew for sure she was awake so he quickly opened her window and ran out of the room. As he was leaving she quickly sat up and whined a bit. He knew if he stayed in her room she would never go back to sleep. So a few hours later he checked up on her and closed her window. By then she was out cold and didn't budge.
I thought it was a cute story. I told him she likes to fake likes shes sleeping!!! What alittle actress we have
