Happy Friday Everyone! Another week gone by.... hopefully I will be able to finish writing this.. Mia is NOT having a good night and refuses to go to sleep. Infact she is up there crying right now as I type this, but I think its because her room is pitch dark. No, I didn't make it that way, before she went to bed she REFUSED to let me plug in her night light... now I think she is regretting that decision haha
Well this week has been pretty cool, especially with the fact that we went to Oxnard for her brother's baby shower and she got to see all her cousins again and Pizano family. That is always a treat for all of us. This was a very significant visit too... it was the last time it would just be the three of us... next time there will be four of us!! YIKES! Mia did great during the visit and had LOTS of fun with her cousins. She even got to spend the night too and she did very well. I can't wait to get everyone together again.... hopefully it will be soon.
She also turned 26 months old this week! I still can't believe how fast time is zooming by! My little one is growing up too darn fast!!!!
Mia HATES her diapers now! and I always have to make sure she is wearing some sort of bottoms at ALL times. Twice this week she took off her diaper in the middle of the night and once she even peed all over her bed!!! She took off her diaper in the middle of the livingroom too! Yep the terrible twos are here!
She did a HUGE thing this week as well! She went Pee pee's in the potty for the first time... well sort of... she did managed to get a few drops in.. but most of it ended up on the floor! EW! haha but she is getting the concept of it all. I ask her if she wants to go Pee Pees in the potty and she will run full blast to the bathroom and sit on her potty chair. Yep, I think potty training is creeping closer and closer... regardless if I am ready or not!
Another big event that happened this week was her Grandpa Pizano came down for a few days to babysit Mia while I packed up some things in the house! Of course that is always a special treat and Mia got spoiled like CRAZY!!!! She and her Grandpa got in some much needed bonding time and really enjoyed the last visit before her baby brother is born!
Well that is about it for the week. I do feel like this blog is a bit rushed by my stomach is hurting really bad again (thanks to the baby) and Mia is crying in her room. I guess I should go check on her to make sure shes ok and try to convince her that the night light is a GOOD thing haha
