Current mood: amused
I wrote earlier on how Adrian was going to take Mia with him to run some errands while I got some much deserved rest at home. All went well with me, I caught up on some emails, rested and finished cooking dinner. Later I heard the garage door open. I went to the garage to greet them and there is where I saw an exhausted Daddy walking in with Mia who was munching on a bread roll.
I asked how things went (I knew they were going to hit the Post Office then WinCo to buy some food) he said that she was a "hand full!!!". She seemed pretty good when I looked at her. She was quietly enjoying her little snack and was running around the living room. I asked Adrian what happened and he said that she was "ok" at the shipping place, although she did want to be put down to run around and get into stuff. However, it was WinCo that caused the most trouble. I guess I didn't feed her a big enough lunch because she got into EVERYTHING in the cart and tried to eat it. He had to literally wrestle food away from her every two seconds and yes she put up a fight each time.
I found it kind of amusing as when he was telling his story. I was listening and at the same time I was putting away the food.. then I saw the evidence of his ordeal. Not 1 not 2 but 3! of our apples had a tiny bites through them, our brick of cheese looked like a mouse got to it.. she some how made it through the tough plastic and chewed up most of the top part and some cheese was missing, needless to say the bread roll she was munching on came from her demanding bread, a candy toy's wrapper was hanging off the toy (he had given her the toy in attempts to entertain her and get her to stop getting food out of the cart and eating it) even my shopping list that was written on a index card came back with chew marks and missing pieces haha
Well I guess we both learned a valuable lesson... make sure Mia is full before taking her grocery shopping again!!! haha
