Current mood: fascinated
Mia got a cute little yellow flute from her Grandpa Santos this past weekend. To our surprise she learned how to blow into it all by herself! Now she is just crazy about her little flute. She carries it everywhere and plays her one note over and over. She often times brings it to me just so I can play it myself then soon after takes it back and blows into it trying to play like I did by wiggling her tiny fingers. Sometimes she will even sit on the couch and just play her flute and that one note over and over again.
One day I let her take the flute to bed with her. I could have sworn I heard that tiny little flute sound coming from her room off and on. Then later that night I went in to check on her she fell asleep holding the little yellow flute in her hand.
I think its really cute. Whenever she plays a note her eyes light up, her eyebrows go up and she gives the biggest smile. She is all proud of herself.
I think we got a musician on her hands!
