Week 100!

mood: adventurous

Happy Friday Everyone!!!! Today is a BIG day for Mia! Not only did she officially turn 23 months old but .... ::drum roll:: .... she is 100 weeks old today!!!! WOW! Two big milestones in one day! I cannot believe that I have had my little munchkin in my life for 100 weeks, sure sounds like a long time, but I am having a blast being a Mama and I can't wait for the next 100, no 1000, no MILLION weeks to come!! (Will I still be alive in a million weeks??? I am to lazy to do the math haha)

Well this week has been fun. Its been heating up as we inch closer and closer to summer, so we busted out Mia's little pool and let her splash around in it for a bit. She LOVED it and refused to get out! She is a little fish just like her Mama used to be.

She is still as shy as ever and getting worse. Not sure what brought this new characteristic on but sometimes it works in our favor. Like this weekend, we took her to Pat and Oscars and she was so shy she ate her meal facing the booth.. which meant she was a good girl and didn't act up at all! Infact, Adrian and I had our first quiet meal as a family in a LONG time!

We also took her to Lake Elsinore Outlets to buy some MUCH needed jammies. I can't believe shes not even 2 yet and already wearing 4 year old clothes!!! I seriously think she will pass me up in height before she reaches 5! She had fun running around the mall and made her Dada buy her a new pair of heart sunglasses AND a Mickey and Donald toy to play with.

We didn't make it out to San Diego this weekend because, frankly, we were just too pooped so we stuck around the house and relaxed! It was the first time in 3-4 weeks! It was nice!

We took Mia to the 99 cent store yesterday to see if they had any cool pool toys and I ended up coming home with TONS of new things for Mia to play with. Things ranging from, a big bag of sidewalk chalk (she LOVES that stuff), a new bathing suit, a bat (which she hits EVERYTHING with), coloring book, necklaces, lady bug wings (which she loves to wear), a giant blow up whale (which she loves to ride around the house on) and lots more. We had lots of fun.

As for this upcoming weekend, we have lots of plans but some are still up in the air. We will be going to San Diego on Sunday to Adrian's cousin Carina's bridal shower, but we still aren't sure if we are going to go to the San Diego County Fair this Saturday or wait for another weekend. Either way I am sure I will have lots of new stories to share! Can't wait! They are also having a Grand-Opening to a new park just down the road from us! I KNOW we will be going to that!
