Another fun trip with Dada to San Diego

Current Mood: Happy

Mia just got home from her adventure in San Diego with Daddy. We are getting ready to relocate to San Diego so Daddy set up an appointment to check out a condo today in Mira Mesa. Since it was in San Diego, he decided to make a day of it so he contacted his Mom and said they would be by to visit for awhile afterward.

Mia was a handful this morning so I was a bit glad to get her out of the house for awhile so she could burn off that built up energy. Their first stop was to check out the condo. Though the condo was "alright" the owners were very nice and really took to Mia. They instantly fell in love with her. They were both older people. The lady wanted to hold Mia's hand and walk her around the house, but Mia was too shy. While the older man was taking them around the complex and was showing Adrian the pool area, he stopped for a bit, smiled at Mia then gave her a pine cone to hold. Mia liked the pine cone.

After they were done checking out the place they headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They were quickly greeted by Mia's cousins Natalia and Brianna who were also staying there. Mia had TONS of fun with her cousins. Natalia blew bubbles with her but got mad when Mia accidentally spilled the bubble soap all over the ground. They colored and drew together and had lots of fun.

Later they we out to eat at Pat and Oscars. Mia chowed down on 3 whole breadsticks and a slice of pizza. After eating they went to PetSmart to check out the animals. Mia saw the bunnies and quickly tried to scare them away by saying "Get! Get!". She then saw a tiny kitten and tried to scare it away too! "GET!" Then she ran into a German Shepard who licked her on the nose! She got a huge kick out of this and then insisted on walking up to a chiwawa to get a kiss from him too! haha

Overall the visit was fun for her and Adrian. Her Grandma and Grandpa spent some quality time with Mia and both complimented on how good she talks now. They loved the framed pictures we gave them of the kids for a belated Christmas present.

When Adrian and Mia finally came home. Mia was exhausted. She cuddled up next to me on the couch and told me about her day. She "played drums" and saw a bird haha. Then she wanted to go to bed, so Adrian put on her jammies and off to bed she went.

What a great day for her. I wish I could have joined them but Alex is a bit to young to be taking random trips to San Diego just yet. He really doesn't like the car. So we just spent the day together and I got some house work done which was nice.
