Week 132

Current Mood: Tired

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Friday!!! I have to write this blog super fast because I don't have much time. The clock is ticking and the time bomb is about to blow! Alex is playing with his toys on his little baby mat and Mia is waiting for me to get her up for the day. The reason I don't write this later is because there won't be later... I will be busy ALL day and I know I am going to forget to write. Luckily I am a fast typer so here we go!

This week has been a slight challenge but not to bad. Nothing I couldn't handle. What helped A TON was Mia's new princess kitchen set. I finally eeked out some time to put it together for her one night so she could wake up to it the next morning. Man, once she saw that kitchen she was glued for DAYS, playing and pretending. I don't know how many batches of cookies she baked me or countless numbers of soup bowls. It was fun playing with her though, it brought back memories of my own kitchen set when I was alittle girl. I loved that set and almost cried the day my Dad sold it at a garage sale.

Mia is also a scooter monster. She LOVES to ride her scooter. So Daddy always takes her with him to the mailbox while she rides her scooter. She has so much fun and is really getting good at it. I finally got to really see her in action the day we all went to Pat and Oscars (the first time as a full family) and she drove it around (well half way around) the duck pond. She can really pick up speed now! I am so proud of her.

She also spent another adventurous day in San Diego with her Daddy this past weekend searching for homes to live. She was really good, however, at this one place she really didn't like the Asian man who was showing off his property. She got scared and demanded to be picked up by Adrian and a short while later insisted that "Dada go!" she wanted to leave haha. They also went to Fat burger later that day and she ate a whole baby fat by herself! WOW! A tiny crisis happened right before that though when she picked up her hamburger and it fell apart. She cried and told Adrian "Dada fix it!! Oh no broken" and broke out in full on tears!!! Poor baby. After Fat burger they went to Fry's and Daddy treated her to a prize for being such a good girl and eating all her dinner (which is so rare these days). Of course she picked out a HUGE crayon set and I have been stepping on those things all week long!

Another HUGE adventure happened this week... Mia, Alex and I took a trip (by ourselves) to the Emu Farm down the road! WOW! Talk about a mission, you can read all about that craziness in that blog... just know we made it back in one piece... barely!

Well nap times are still a battle with Mia and we have tried everything... she still wakes up with little sleep screaming and crying... Sigh..

Well little Mr. Alex is getting fussy and Mia is knocking on the door I gotta get going... see you later!
