Current Mood: Impressed
Mia has owned a scooter for about a month now. Daddy found it one day on his way to his Mom's house and took it home with him. It was love at first sight with Mia. She couldn't wait to ride it... well more like be pushed on it. So I cleaned it up as best as I could (it is a bit beat up but still works) and she has been riding it all around the house. (Mostly in the kitchen).
She has loved scooters ever since visiting her cousin's house in Oxnard. Her cousin April has a scooter and every time we went to visit she would get on it and either Adrian or April would push her around on it. So now that she had her own, she was overjoyed.
So recently Adrian has been taking her out on it and told me that she is actually getting the hang of it. I was so excited to hear this and couldn't wait to see her in action. So when Daddy went to take her out and she choose to take her scooter instead of her 3 wheeler I took the opportunity to record her leaving the house. I couldn't go to the park with them since Alex was sleeping inside the house.
I was really impressed on how good she was doing. She even made it down the driveway which has a decline on it. I was so proud watching her... my little girl is growing up so fast!
