Current Mood: Tired
Today was another adventurous day in San Diego for Mia and Dada. We are getting closer and closer to moving so today was spent looking at some potential places to live. So while I stayed home with Alex, Mia went with Daddy.
They left pretty early in the afternoon before Mia's nap. All the places they looked at were in Mira Mesa and two of them they actually got to go inside. Mia slept on the ride down and eventually they made it to the first place. Mia was a bit scared but walked around. That place didn't work out because they said no to all pets no matter what. Bummer...
Then they took off to the next place a little up the road. That place was being shown by an Asian man that scared Mia. He didn't scare her on purpose but she just didn't like him and insisted that Adrian hold her the whole time. Then when they were talking Mia kept butting in saying "Dada go? Dada go byebye" She really wanted to leave haha. That place wasn't so bad, we might consider it.
After driving by a couple more places they headed back home. Before they got home though they stopped by Fat Burger to pick up some good ol' tastey hamburgers. Mia was a bit hungry so Adrian fed her, her hamburger first then went back to order to go (for me!). He sat her near him but he still had to walk away a bit to the counter. Mia was all ready to eat her "baby fat" (thats what they call their tiniest hamburgers) and when she went to pick it up she just ended up picking up the bun and the rest of the burger fell back on the table. She quickly yelled to Adrian "OH NO!! BROKEN!!! Dada fix it! Dada fix it!", "Hold on Mia, just a second" Daddy answered back. Of course this is NOT what Mia wanted to hear and soon she got louder "Oh No! Broken!!! Hamburger Broken" then burst into full on tears and she wailed. The people in the next booth couldn't help but laugh at her dilemma. Adrian tried to calm her down from afar but eventually had to go over and "fix" her hamburger for her to get her to stop crying and making a huge scene. After the crisis was over she actually ate her whole hamburger! Thats a first! So as a reward Daddy promised her a prize. Oh ya, and she had her very first chocolate milk! She didn't like it though.
After Fat Burger Daddy took her to Fry's Electronics in San Marcos (nearby). There he shopped a bit then told Mia to pick out a prize for being such a good girl and eating all her baby fat. She quickly ran to this BIG crayon set. It had its own plastic holder and held over 60 crayons!!! Adrian tried to convince her to get the 99 cent box nearby but no she wanted the giant $6 set!!! no amount of convincing would make her change her mind... so Daddy bought it.
She was so happy and after awhile they headed home. Once they got home she was really tried. Adrian said she was actually complaining in the backseat to him saying she wanted to go night night. She did sleep a bit on the ride home but it wasn't enough, once she got home she was NOT in a good mood. She was whining and crying up a storm so eventually she went to bed.
Wow what a day... I am so tired I think I am going to go lay down now. I am just glad we have one more day of the weekend so we can really rest tomorrow.. YAY!
