Current mood: accomplished
Mia went the whole entire day without one single bottle! and she didn't miss it either. Granted she was already down to 1.5 bottles a day (if that), she has never gone a whole day without it (other than when she was breastfeeding) before until today. It really wasn't planned it just kind of happened. With the whole running around doing some last minuet party shopping, time just got away from us. She did have her 3 meals but they didn't include a bottle at the end. Before I knew it she was in bed and I realized, wow no bottle today!
Though I don't plan on taking her off formula completely just yet, we are going to try introducing milk next week, I think she has officially hung up her bottle. I am happy but alittle sad. Ever since she learned to crawl she never sits and cuddles anymore and it just got worse when she learned to walk. Now she NEVER cuddles. She rather grab her blankey and lay on the ground by herself. Feeding her a bottle was the only time I got to hold her and cuddle her.... now its gone. Maybe I will sneak in a bottle here and there just to hold her again haha... then again she doesn't like the bottle much anyways and will probably just refuse to drink it and run off and play.
She has taken the to sippy a WHOLE lot more now. Though she has been using one since she was 6 months old, she REALLY likes them now. She LOVES water and chugs it like no ones business. I don't blame her either it has been real hot lately.
Anyways I just wanted to write down the day she officially stopped using her bottle. She ditched it before turning 1 haha
