It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Current Mood: Cheerful

I finally managed to squeak out alittle extra time last night to string the lights on the tree and stair banister. I also put a few of my holiday decorations out (not all of them because I knew Mia would get into them and destroy them and the ones she couldn't reach she would HOUND me relentlessly until I handed them to her). I couldn't wait to see Mia's reaction in the morning.

So when I got her up this morning I told her I had something to show her and brought her to the middle of the stairs. Thats when she saw the banister all decorated with shiny garland and lights. She gasped and was so excited to see them. Then she went downstairs and saw ALL the other decorations I had up and she went nuts checking them all out. She was a bit afraid of my light up snowman at first but she quickly warmed up when she saw my "baby snowman". She brought the little "baby" to the bigger one and told the bigger one to "hold baby" and then proceeded to make the baby "nurse" on the bigger snowman. AYE MIA!!! HAHAHA Shes obsessed with breastfeeding I guess haha

She had lots of fun looking around and playing with all the singing toys. I also brought Alex over to see the lights too and he squealed and cooed at them. It was a very fun moment for the three of us.

The only bad thing is that Mia won't let me turn off the lights on the stairs! When we went to leave for Alex's doctor appointment, I turned them off and she had a HUGE fit! Oh No! Looks like we will have an above normal electric bill due to these tiny lights and Mia's demand to keep them on. Wait until she sees the Christmas tree with all of its LED lights! Oh No! I am planning on showing that to her when its gets dark.

Stay tuned....
