When Adrian told me this story, after coming home from the store, I knew I just HAD to write it down. I thought it was so cute and funny at the same time.
Today Adrian took Mia with him to WinCo to pick up some groceries. Mia has been obsessed lately with wearing her Halloween costume (Wonder woman) all day and when he couldn't convince her to take it off he just took her in it. Thats not even the embarrassing part...
While they were shopping they came across the toy isle. Adrian saw a medium size plastic giraffe and decided to give it to Mia to play with while they shopped (Mia loves giraffes). She took it and was all happy and started to play with it. It was a odd looking thing, because it had its tongue sticking out. Anyways, Adrian did more shopping and could hear her talking to herself in the cart. Eventually he looked over and to his horror he saw something that shocked him....
She had pulled up her Wonder Woman dress all the way up (diaper exposed and everything) and had the giraffe at her belly button in attempts to "feed" it! He quickly asked her what she was doing and tried to stop her and she said "giraffe eat" and continued to keep trying to "nurse" it! She kept doing this over and over and wouldn't stop! or give up the toy. It was so bad that he ended up having to buy the toy! haha
When they came home he asked Mia to tell me what she did with the giraffe and she ran over to me all excited, lifted up her dress and put it on her belly button. I couldn't stop laughing. I was also feeding Alex at the time, so she jumped on the couch, sat next to me and lifted up her shirt and fed her giraffe too haha
Sigh little Mia! and Poor Daddy, I wouldn't even know what I would have done in that situation haha. Well I did go through some of her old toys and found a tiny baby bottle and lately shes been using that to feed her toys... phew! hopefully that will last and she won't use her belly button anymore haha
