Week 126

Current Mood: Hungry

Good Morning and Happy Friday! We just finished up another week so here I am again for Mia's Weekly review!

Mia sure is a character and really coming into her own now. She always has us on our toes because you never know what she will do or get into! For example, Adrian got her up from a nap this week and found her covered in Desitin from head to toe!!! Even under her clothes! Where ever she could reach. She is obsessed with "cream" and always wants to put it on herself. Needless to say shes been rash free for awhile! haha

She slept in our bed for the first time in Mia history this week! Daddy was really tired and really didn't feel like squeezing in to her bed with all her toys, so he brought her to our room and took a nap with her on our bed. She actually listened, stayed on the bed and slept! WOW! I was impressed when he told me what he did (Alex and I were out shopping when this happened)

Bedtime is becoming difficult ... again! Though not as bad as before since we try to stay with her until she falls asleep, but when we can't she blows up pretty bad. She is also doing a new thing, she will get up at all hours of the night just to turn on her bedroom light. Sometimes she will crawl right back into bed and fall asleep but most of the time she plays. Sigh.... sleep and Mia never seem to mix anymore.... then again... when did it!? haha

She always wants to do what I do and "help" me. So this week we made pancakes together. I wasn't really planning on cooking with her but she was so into what I was doing and asking to help that I just couldn't turn her down. So we made pancakes and she had so much fun. Now she always wants to make pancakes and gets mad at me if I cook her egg instead!

Again, like I mentioned before, Mia is such a little character. She always finds ways to make me laugh whether they be on purpose or not. This week she put on 4 painter's masks on her head and it made me bust up so much that I just HAD to take pictures. Silly Mia, always Mama's little sunshine!

A HUGE event that happened this week is she got to meet Santa in person! She was so excited about this, however, whenever she was in the same room with him she would clam up and stare at him. She did give him a couple of hugs which she still talks about now, but still was uneasy about the whole thing. She did get her picture taken with him and I was really pleasantly surprised to see it came out really good! I was afraid she would have that Mia stare but she didn't she actually looked really relaxed with him. I am happy for that.

Well Mia is definately digging the Holiday spirit this year, so this weekend I will be decorating our house and hopefully we will get our tree! She is obsessed with all the holiday lights on people's houses and LOVES Santa. I am sure I will have more stories to share this weekend, especially tomorrow when she hit 29 weeks!! Wow my baby girl is growing up so fast!
