Poor little Mia, she has officially been initiated into the bike/scooter riding "Ouchie" club! Yes she got her very first riding ouchie and it happened right in the kitchen (of course while I was cooking breakfast and not watching her).
She was happily riding her scooter around the island in the morning. I told her to put on some socks but she refused. Instead of fighting with her I figured I would put them on her after breakfast. I was busy cooking her egg when she rode past me. Then I heard a big crash! I quickly turned around to find her sitting on her butt on the floor!
At first I thought she fell off her scooter and thats why she was on her butt, but then she started to hold her foot and cry. I sat on the floor next to her trying to figure out what happened and asking her what happened. She kept saying "ouchie foot!" I looked at her foot and it seemed ok but I rubbed it anyway and tried to calm her down while wiping away her tears. Eventually she toughed up (which literally only took a min) and she was ready to ride again. When she got up is when I noticed her toe! The skin had been scrapped off and it was bleeding! OMG! She didn't seem to mind though and didn't even notice it until later. When she did finally notice it, she was a bit concerned but was more interested in peeling back more skin and playing with the blood! YUCK!! Eventually I had to put socks on her so she would leave her ouchie alone!
Sigh little Mia! My little dare devil gets her first riding ouchie!
