I love to listen to Mia's little stories

Current Mood: Tired

Mia is growing up so fast. Shes in such a fun stage right now where she can communicate so much better. You can really understand what she is saying and she can hold conversations now. My most favorite thing of all is when her and Adrian come back from running errands together and the stories she tells about their little adventure.

Today was extra cute. Adrian had to run to a couple of Staples to drop off some ink. Since it was the last day to do it he had to do it today and he wanted to take Mia with him. Unfortunately, Mia had just taken a shower and was dressed in her jammies and Elmo slippers. Adrian didn't mind and wanted to take her anyway but I was hesitant about it. After some thought I agreed with Adrian that it would be good for her to get out, plus it wasn't too late it was only 5:30pm.

So off they went. They ended up going to TWO Staples (one in Lake Elsinore and the other in Murrieta) AND Best Buy. When she came home she told me all about the fun things they did... mostly in Best Buy. She LOVES that Best Buy in particular because they have a music section with lots of instruments. She had not been there in a while so Adrian thought it would be a nice treat for her. I wish he would have taken my camera or better yet I wish I would have been there to see her all dressed in her pink leopard print jammies, a large pink coat and wearing her Elmo slippers as she played with the different instruments! I am sure the site was priceless!

When I asked her about it, she told me she went "boom boom pow on drums" "played guitar" "play piano" (she motioned like she was playing piano) "had fun" and other things. I loved hearing her tell me all about it and even tried to capture some of it on video. She was so excited and happy.

I love hearing all the little stories she shares. I really need to keep my camera on hand so I can capture her cute stories since she is still learning to talk and communicate and she sounds so cute. It is times like these that the "terrible 2's" don't seem so terrible after all.
