Current Mood: Sore
Grandpa stayed an extra day with us! YAY! so after chowing down on some chicken for dinner and eating a bit too much a nice walk around the neighborhood sounded like a great idea!
Since it already dark (time change makes it dark sooner) and a bit chilly, we bundled up Mia good, put her in her stroller, put on our jackets and off we went on our little adventure.
Mia was so happy to get out and had her flash light all ready in one hand. She talked a bit but remained pretty quiet for the most part. We explored some areas of the neighborhood that I have never even been too so it was fun. The best part was running into dead ends or places where the side walk ended suddenly and without warning. Every now and then I would ask Mia "Mia are you ok?" "Ok" she would reply back while holding onto her flashlight. The two things she liked most about our trip was the moon (it was really bright tonight) and the Christmas train a neighbor had on their lawn.
About half way through our walk, she knocked out! Poor little one couldn't keep up haha
We walked a good hour all over the neighborhood and once we got home my Dad took her out of her stroller and walked her inside the house. Instantly Mia woke up and came alive again with energy. That is a famous Mia move, she only needs a short cat nap and shes ready to go for hours on end!
The walk was fun though, just my Dad, myself and Mia. Though maybe next time I would bring a bigger flashlight we still had fun on our little adventure.
