I just HAD to write a quick blog about something that cracked me up last night.
My Dad is in town again to help us out, especially because Adrian needs to be in San Diego early morning on Friday and I am overly exhausted. He came in about mid yesterday afternoon. Mia was on cloud nine again hanging out with Grandpa but Alex was being a bit fussy. I wasn't sure if it was because of the extra noise (Mia can tend to get a bit rowdy especially when shes extra excited and happy) so I decided to set Alex up in Mia's room to sleep. It worked out pretty good and when he woke up to eat I went upstairs to get him.
I use the boppie to feed him in and he also naps in it. So when I went to get him I knew I couldn't carry both Alex and the boppie downstairs at the same time. I decided I would just throw the boppie down the stairs so I wouldn't have to make two trips. So I told my Dad not to worry if he hears something fall down the stairs, its just the boppie. Once I reached the stairs I threw down the pillow.... I heard a chuckle from my Dad moments later.
He told me, Mia was laying down playing on the couch. Then she heard the boppie come crashing down and land with a big THUMP on the bottom of the stairs. She quickly sat up, and with a look of shock on her face she pointed to the stairs and said "OH NO! BABY!!!" haha Poor thing, she thought her baby brother fell down the stairs! When I heard this I cracked up, but we both told Mia it wasn't baby and baby was ok.
Little Mia, always watching out for her baby brother! Too cute!
