Current Mood: Amused
Ok at first, seeing Mia and her little baby doll was very cute but now I think she is taking it a bit too far. I noticed that she copies everything I do with Alex and does the same thing with her baby. I walk with Alex and rock him and she does the same. I burp Alex and she does it too. Now she lays the baby in his bed with him and even uses his blankets for her baby. All that is fine and dandy but what she does next is making me laugh inside and get alittle shocked...
I nurse the baby in front of her mainly because its not feasible to seclude myself or leave her alone. If I cover up while nursing she comes over and pulls back the blanket and says "Ta-da!" so no I can't hide it from her. She has never seen him drink from a bottle so all she knows is babies are breastfed. Well like I mentioned before, she always wants to do what I am doing OR have me treat her baby like Alex. Well it didn't stop with me just holding the baby, now she insists that I nurse her baby too!! Not only that but she insists I do it on the same side as Alex is eating AND wants it done on the same "spot!" Oh no!!!! I know, I tried to pretend but I couldn't fool her. Luckily I was able to do it at an angle where the doll wasn't "on" me but near me and she couldn't tell the difference. Now I have to balance not only Alex on me but the doll near me as well. I couldn't stop chuckling to myself when I saw two little heads "there" and Mia was all excited and happy while saying "Baby Eat! Baby Eat!"
I don't know what to do now. I know she won't buy the "give her baby a bottle" idea because Alex doesn't drink from bottles. I don't want to keep nursing her baby so I think the best bet is to hide that little doll before Alex eats from now on haha
