Dada's 30th Birthday

Current Mood: Tired

Not many people are aware that two days after Mia's birthday, her Dada has a birthday. This birthday was not just any birthday either, it was his big 30! So we wanted to make it extra special for him.

Despite being drained and tired. I got up at 5am and went to the store at 6 to pick up some stuff for his birthday. When I got home I took a short nap and soon Mia was up.

We went downstairs and while cooked Mia her usual breakfast, I also cooked Adrian one too! I made him one of my famous pepper jack cheese omlete and two big pancakes. I happened to just finish when Adrian came downstairs for the day.

After breakfast I baked him his favorite Chocolate cake and baked his all time favorite dish, Chicken mushroom caserole. He was in heaven!

The rest of the day was spend spoiling him. Mia insisted that his cake was a "Foofa Cake" since I used the same cake pan her her birthday! We sang Happy Birthday to Dada and he helped blow out his candles. It was really cute and really fun, however, once Mia got ahold of the chocolate icing she wouldn't stop eating it! We eventually had to take the cake away and she blew up crying! Oh no! she wouldn't even let him read his cards she was crying so loud and kept yelling "Cake! Cake!!" and pointing at the cake!

She finally stopped when it was present time. She helped Dada open his presents and had lots of fun with that, however, after that was over it was back to "cake!!! cake!!! cake!!"

Alittle while later we all jumped in the car and went to Toys R Us to spend the birthday money Mia got from her Great Grandpa Pizano. We shopped all around the store and Mia had a blast. She found a cute little Micky Mouse backpack and refused to take it off. She walked around the whole store wearing and she looked like she was ready for school. We alter showed her a rocking horse and once she got on it we couldn't get her off for NOTHING!!!! I finally had to bribe her to go to the next isle by showing her a dancing Micky Mouse. Of course once she saw that she ran over and refused to leave that isle.... GREAT! so we had to bribe her yet again but it didn't work so well. She didn't even care if we left her either! She wanted that mouse! Eventually she grew tired of it and rejoined us, only to get fixated on an electric car you could ride. Once she got in that car we couldn't get her out. None of our tactics worked and eventually we just had to force her out. Of course she threw a big crying fit and made a big stink ... but at least we got her out of the car. The next isle we went to was the tricycle isle. We had her sit on one and try to ride it but she couldn't figure out the pedels. One we were done she refused to leave the bikes... sigh.... GREAT!! So we walked away thinking she would eventually follow since she couldn't ride the bike! Well she followed alright.. she followed by dragging the tricycle along with her! She refused to part with that thing and it took alot of convincing to finally have her leave it!!!

Soon it was time to go so we bought what we picked out for her. An extention of her Little People Farm and a new pool! she was pretty happy about it.

After Toys R Us we stopped off at Staples for a bit but soon left when they didn't have what we wanted. We went home after that and Mia went to bed soon after.

The rest of the night, Adrian and I spent it watching a movie and relaxing. Overall it was a great day and Adrian had a great birthday!
