Happy Friday!!!! Boy its a HOT one today! and what I mean by HOT I mean 100+ HOT!!! Ugh... summer is here and I am NOT liking it. But despite the heat, it hasn't stopped Mia from having an awesome week!
The biggest news of all, that happened this week, is Mia turned 2 years old!!!!! Thats right, my baby girl isn't such a baby anymore. We celebrated her big day in Oxnard with her Grandparents (Pizano) her Nina and Nino and cousins. We held her little party at her Nina and Nino's house and she not only got her very own jump for joy, but a custom home-made "Foofa cake" that I made for her, and her Nino drew her a Muno poster! She got TONS of presents and had a great time.
We also celebrated another special day this week, her Dada turned 30! So Mia and I helped spoil him rotten and I cooked tons of food for him. We later went to Toys R Us to spend Mia's new birthday money and she came home with a new pool and a little people barn extension. She had a blast in the store and went nuts over the toys. There were many times she would get hooked on a toy and not come out of the isle. She only threw one fit and it was when we took her out of an electric car, she was not happy about that.
The rest of the week went smoothly. As the heat set in we stopped going outside. She has been alittle stir crazy but her new birthday toys help keep her occupied.
Thats it for the week. Not sure what is planned this weekend but with the heat it will probably involve staying indoors, but who knows there might be a story or two brewing....
