Current mood: happy
Happy Friday Everyone!!!!! Its the end of another crazy week! Thankfully, I am completely well from my HORRIFIC cold, Mia is well... the only one coughing up a storm is Adrian! I keep telling him to get seen by a doctor but he refuses, ah well. Now he has Mia copying him, she will go around pretending to sneeze, forcing herself to cough, and every time she comes across a kleenex or napkin she has to wipe her nose and fake cough! She always goes up to me and points to Adrian and says "Dada sneeze!" the way she says sneeze is with a fake sneeze, its really funny and cute.
We haven't been able to get out to much as a family lately because of the colds, but we did manage to make a short trip to Murrieta this past weekend for their "city birthday". It was held at a large park, and had rides, games, and food. We didn't stay to long but Mia had a blast. She ran around in the grass, jumped on a bouncer and ate some nachos!
The rest of the week was spent quietly at home. It is officially summer now and hitting 100s... YUCK! so going to the park is out. Mia has been making the best of being cooked up in the house though. Shes been playing with her little toys and you can really see her imagination at work. She will take her little toy cat and put it face down in Mew Mew's cat food bowl and say "Kitty Eat" or "Kitty Food". She always insists on putting that cat in the food. Whenever I remove it, she will find it and put it back!
Mia is also a big fan of "Queen", her new favorite song is "We will Rock you!" she constantly makes me or Adrian play the video for her or sing it to her. She calls it her "We We" song. She goes insane whenever its on, and its really cute!
She is growing up so fast, I can hardly believe that less than a couple of weeks my little one is going to be "2"!!!!!!!! Everyday is a new adventure and she is changing so much and talking!!! She is putting more and more words together and her sentences are getting longer! She is even starting to tell me what she wants, like "Mama agua!" or "Mama Milk". I ask her if she wants certain things and she will either say "No" or go over with me to get it. I am so proud of her! Ack I think I hear her, I need to get her up from a nap!
