Current Mood: TIRED!
The day after Mia's party was a blur. Everyone was tired, including Mia. She ended up taking a 3 hour nap shortly after she woke up! Everyone was pooped from the party the day before.
After Mia woke from her nap, her Dada, myself and her Grandpa decided to go out to lunch at a local Thai place. I have been craving Thai food FOREVER! So it was a big treat for me. Unfortunately, once we arrived they were closed for the next 30 mins! NOOOOO! Luckily the Dollar Tree was next door so we decided to take a look around.
It didn't take long before my Dad and I had Mia dressed up in everything we could think of. When Dada rejoined us the first things out of his mouth were "Oh My Goodness!". Mia was standing there in the middle of the isle, wearing a bright red feather boa, purple sparkly butterfly wings, holding a sparkly baton in one and and a tiny pinata in the other! She was definately a site to see... a very cute site. After picking up some goodies we bought her some stuff and went back to the Thai place. Luckily they were open and we quickly sat down and ordered.
The food there was GREAT! and definately hit the spot! Even Mia dug into the rice and ate half the bowl! After everyone was stuffed it was time to go. We said our sad goodbyes to Grandpa and headed off to Frys near the freeway. We stopped at Frys since it was to early to get on the road, we didn't want to hit alot of traffic and thought what better place to kill some time than Fry's?
Once we got there, Mia instantly fell in love with a tiny pink stuffed animal hedgehog. It was holding a tiny heart and when you pressed it, it made kissing noises. Mia LOVED it and everytime I would press the heart she would press the toy next to her cheek and make it kiss her. It was the cutest time to watch. She carried that little toy with her almost the entire time. She finally gave it up in the TV department. She put him in a little cup holder and made him watch TV as she walked away.
She had lots of fun in Fry's, running around and exploring. Mama, unfortunately, could not keep up and ended up hanging out in the cafe. Mia and her Dada explored some more. At one point, Adrian said, Mia stopped following him. So he left the isle and peeked around the side to see what she would do. As soon as she realized he was gone, she went looking for him. She left the isle (she didn't look his way) and went down the following three isles looking for him. You could tell she was uneasy and wanted to find her Dada! Once she found him she ran up to him and gave him a big hug and never left his side again! haha
After they were done having fun they came by the cafe and met up with me. Mia refused to get back into the cart and kept saying "No cart! No cart!" when we forced her inside she blew up and made a huge scene in the store... GREAT! It didn't last to long and she quickly got over it. We paid for the items we wanted and soon got on the road to go home.
She slept most of the way and only woke up right before we got home. Once we got home I ended up crashing out on the couch, only to be woke up by Adrian telling me to go to bed. He helped me go to bed and put Mia down as well.
Wow what and end to a whirlwind of a weekend! I am still really tired from all the fun times!!
