Current mood: tired
Yes yes I know I know, I am a few days late with this blog, but I have a very good reason. Mia's baby brother, Alex, was BORN!!! WHOOHOO!!!! So when Mia turned 27 months old it so happened that it happened the same day we came home from the hospital and its been a whirlwind ever since. So today, I am determined to do this blog so I don't get to far behind.
This month has been exciting and fun! Especially since it marked the final month of my pregnancy so preparing for the baby with Mia has been interesting to say the least! So lets get to it!
SUMMARY:
Mia took off her diaper and was found TWICE in her room asleep without a diaper. She even peed in her bed! Oh-No!
She went to Oxnard for her baby brother's babyshower and got to see her Oxnard family again
She spent the night at her Nina and Nino's house
She went to San Diego for baby brother's babyshower and got to see her Cardoso family again
She now sits on her potty and even peed in it for the first time!!
Grandpa Pizano visited for a few days and wore Mia out so much that after he left she fell asleep on the livingroom floor and couldn't be woken up! haha
My Dad took her to Corona with him to get some Hamburgers from a GREAT hamburger place
She learned how to do the "scissor" jump
She refuses to take naps or go to bed nicely, it always turns into a full on trantrum fit
She always has to wear pants or shorts now because she loves to take off her diaper, she is beginning to not like them anymore
Mia went to a couple of baby doctor appointments
She always sniff things and says "Pee-U!"
She put on her shoes by herself for the first time AND on the correct foot!
She fell out of her bed
She got her wonderwoman costume in the mail and she LOVES to wear it
I started to really get anxious about how the adjustment period would be with the newborn and Mia
She pretends to be a "Frog" and goes "Ribbit" while jumping all hunched over, she also does monkey "ooh ooh aah aah"
She loves to dance and its evolving into an even cuter dance where she wiggles her butt and hips and claps
She is more clingy to me and if I leave the room without her she will look for me saying "Mama? Mama? Maaamaaa where are you!?"
She LOVES her "Ice Agua"
She went to the 3 year City of Menifee Birthday Celebration and danced near the stage
She went to San Diego with her Daddy to help celebrate her cousin Brianna's 5th birthday
She gave up the pinata stick without a fuss!
She put herself to bed once
HER BABY BROTHER WAS BORN!!!!!!!!
She was in the hospital the moment he was born and she got to meet him
GOALS MET FROM LAST MONTH?
Well due to all the chaos this last month has been with preparing for the baby, I unfortunately could not work on her numbers or alphabet to much, although she is still learning alot from watching PBS.
GOALS FOR NEXT MONTH:
Accept her baby brother a bit more, become Mama's little helper, take steps toward taking naps and bedtime better
