Current mood: blissful
Well this weekly blog sure came in alittle late and for good reason too! Mia's baby brother was born!!!!!! Yep, he decided to come early and I went into labor just as I was about to get up and write Mia's weekly blog last Friday! So as you can imagine that went out the window! haha Well I will be posting a blog ALL about Baby Alex's birth and what has been going on recently, but I must keep with my tradition and keep this blog all about Mia's past week! (If I can haha)
Well this week has been a week of preparing and anticipation of the impending birth, so needless to say we went shopping... ALOT! Mia didn't mind, she loves to go out. We even came home with extra treats for her too!
We also had our last family outing as just the THREE of us. We went to the Menifee Birthday Celebration party held at a local park. Mia had a GREAT time, especially since there was live music there. She is my little dancing machine and showed off her skills to everyone!
Mia also went with her Dada to San Diego to help celebrate her cousin Brianna's 5th birthday! she had lots of fun with her cousins and came home with a big bag of candy! (which I had to eventually take away from her since she learned how to get through the plastic!) She also got to hit the pinata and was a good girl and gave up the stick without a fight! YAY!
She has been so horrible in putting to bed lately its almost comical! Every sleep time turns into a full on battle that ends with a HUGE tantrum. So you can imagine how shocked we were when one day this week, Mia decided to put herself to bed! She literally said her good nights, closed the door to her room and put herself to sleep without a fuss!! WOW!! Too bad it only happened once... haha
Mia also went to her baby brother's final doctor's appointment. That was alot of fun though we had to wait FOREVER before the doctor came to see me. When she finally did Mia gave her the maddest look that the doctor actually left and came back with a special princess sticker just for her! Mia forgave her! haha
And last but not least! Mia was present (well not literally, she was in the waiting room) when her Baby Brother was born and got to meet him for the first time!!!! I will write all about that in another blog, I am sure everyone is curious to know how that all went. If I tried to talk about it now this blog will be epically long! haha
So yep this week was extra special! So many things happening... so now is the real test, will I still be able to keep up with Mia AND Alex's blogging?!?!? Only time will tell....
