Current mood: happy
I have been meaning to write a little blog about Grandpa and Mia's big day at the park yesterday but things keep coming up and I can't break away to. Now that I have some time before, yet another, doctor's appointment I decided I would write a quick blog about it.
Grandpa has been dying to take Mia to the park again, and yesterday the weather was perfect for it. So while I rested and home and Daddy was taking out my Halloween decorations out of the closet, Grandpa took Mia to the park. This was the first time I let them just have some fun time together without tagging along. Though I really wanted to.
My Dad said they had lots of fun. He let her run all around, anywhere she wanted to go. She walked up and down the park and even down the street. She collected tons of leaves and of course tried to hold to many in her hands and dropped some on the floor. When the leaves (which were really dried up) started to crumple she would get upset and just crush them and throw them down. They walked and walked until Mia finally got tired, so Grandpa picked her up and walked with her around the entire park track. He took tons of pictures and videos which I will upload later. Towards the end of the adventure the icecream man showed up in his truck, of course Grandpa said Mia asked for an icecream so they went to get one. Right away people commented on how cute Mia looked in her new little Panda jumper. Then Grandpa and Mia picked out a popsical (a bomb pop) and they ate it as they walked home.
When they came in the door right away I knew Mia was being spoiled with a treat she normally doesn't get since her mouth was covered in red popsical!!! haha I didn't mind though it was a nice treat for her and I know her Grandpa loves to spoils her. Plus it was her very first icecream from the icecream man! So in a way it was a sort of milestone for her haha
Anyways they had lots of fun and already my Dad is talking about taking her back.
