Current mood: tired
Now that I have all her stuff to complete her Tinkerbell costume, I thought it would be cute to show Grandpa how she looked in it. BAD IDEA!!!
I should have picked a better day to do this because she has been in one of those moods all day. Not sure if she is coming down with something or teething but she is really moody. So needless to say putting on her costume was no easy task. Since I am still healing from my surgery my Dad helped me put it on her and before we knew it she was screaming bloody murder and we were trying to put it on as fast as we could. Her little arms wouldn't go through the holes and she kepty trying to throw herself on the ground. Before you knew it both Grandpa and I were cracking up at the whole situation, we just couldn't get the darn dress on!!! We tried and tried and more Mia cried and cried! Eventually we got the dress on. Then came the tights, thats was another battle, then came the shoes, another war! then I ended up chasing her around the living room trying to put her wings on which she wanted no part of. Forget about the crown that was a whole nother battle within itself. By the time we got her costume on we were all outta breath and Mia was not a happy camper. We only got a couple of nice pictures of her in it and the rest were crying ones. Poor baby. I gave her, her wand to play with (something she LOVES) but she ended up bending it and breaking it... sigh... so when I took it away she blew up again. Eventually it was time for the costume to come off and once again we went to war again with the screaming baby.. poor Mia
We soon took it off and let her run around in a diaper for awhile. She was happy about that. I just hope she does better when Halloween is here.
