Mia is 65!...... weeks that is

Current mood: cheerful

Wow where did the week go?! It can't possibly be Friday already!?! Well I guess it is and here I am!

This week was fun and full of new adventures but unfortunately most days I was either to tired or to sick to write about any of them. Hopefully I will be able to recall most of them now.

It started off fun, we went to Adrian's cousin Carina's engagement party. Though shy at first Mia soon warmed up and was ready to PARTY! Soon she became the life of the party and wouldn't stop dancing! She shook her little hips back and forth like nobody's business! She had a great time picking up leaves in their backyard and listening to the music. She even liked the Philipino food served! Especially Pansit. The family loved seeing her again and we all had a wonderful time.

We went shopping a few times this week too! and not just to the normal places like WinCo (in which we did anyways... always needing to stock up on Milk for our little milk monster! haha) We went to the Lake Elsinore Outlets to see if I could buy any new warm winter jammies for her. We are finally coming into Fall and the temp. is finally dropping. I went to dress her in her usual winter jammies from last year (they were really big on her last year, size 18 months) but we found out she no longer fit in them!! Oh no!!! Especially the ones with little feet on them. Her toes were all smashed up in them so off to the store we went. We stocked up on $160 worth of cute warm jammies!!! (we only paid $80 since everything was 50% off yay!!!) I had a blast. It was the first time in an ultra long time I actually got to buy her clothes... well jammies. Between her Grandma Santos who is always spoiling her to death with buying her clothes (WE LOVE IT!) and the hand-me-downs from her cousin April (WE ALSO LOVE THAT!) I never get to buy her anything myself. Well mostly because I don't have the money for it .. not working an all but that day we made an exception and I got to splurge alittle.. it was tons of fun. Though Mia was more bored with the whole trip and wanted to sleep haha. We also took her shopping at the mall but that didn't last to long, I got really sick and we ended up going home early... but today we will be going back YAY! We also went to Khols so I could buy her an outfit for my cousin's wedding this weekend. I not only found the cutest little outfit but the cutest little shoes. When I had Mia try them on she took off running like I have never seen her do before!!! I guess that was my answer if I should buy them or not. We had a good time in the store but by the end Mia got antsy and wanted to run around. I let her and boy I was chasing her all over the store... literally!!! I think I will think twice about letting her do that again haha. We also went to Target this week too. We went to get my cousin a wedding presents but also ended up coming home with toys for Mia too! (of course haha) She now has her own set of legos and clippos! She seems to like them both, especially pulling the pieces apart and putting them back together again.

We ate at a few places too. Red Robin and Soup Plantation. She did good with both places. She loves Red Robin because she always gets a balloon to play with. At Soup Plantation (its like a buffet place) she was alittle more on the rowdy side. Though she never acted up, she didn't like me getting up and leaving for more food. She would always start whining and getting mad. She did good there though and really seemed to like the variety of food we shared with her.... peas, brocolli, fetachini, jello.. etc

This week Adrian and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary!!!! Yep two whole years!!! Unfortunately I got really sick all day. Though I tried to shake it off it eventually just got worse to where we had to come home from going out. I was extremely dizzy from the moment I got up in the morning till I went to bed at night. I even got queasy really bad, so bad in the car we had to pull off for a bit to settle my stomach or I would have thrown up in the car. It was awful but Adrian and Mia were both good sports and helped me feel better in their own little way. At one point I ran into Wendy's because I thought I would get sick and when I came out Mia and Daddy had gotten off the car and were playing in the grassy area near by. Mia was running around barefoot and picking up leaves it was so cute to watch. She was having a blast which was good, all I needed was an upset baby to handle along with an upset tummy. When we got home Adrian took care of Mia while I rested. He even started a fire in our fireplace. It was our first seasonal fire of the year and Mia loved it. She kept trying to get to the fireplace and touch it!!! ACK! So we blocked off the whole area with boxes and totes so she couldn't get near it, but she still liked looking at it. We then spent a quiet evening with all the lights off but the fireplace and cuddled on the couch, all three of us. It was a great night.

Oh ya, earlier in the week we even went to the park across the street together as a family, all three of us. We haven't done that since before she could even crawl! So it was a nice treat. Adrian got to see how happy Mia gets just running around and picking up leaves. I got some great pictures of that, that I just have to upload.

She also let me know in very CLEAR way that she knows the difference between her Water Sippe and her Milk Sippe. We keep them both separate and different to help us remember but we never knew Mia noticed the difference too. They are both the same type of cup only one has a green lid and the other a pink one. The pink one is her milk and the green her water. One morning I got Mia up, changed her diaper like usual and put her on the ground to walk. I always ask her to show me where the Milk is and she leads me to the kitchen and to the fridge. I then reward her by giving her her milk sipee. However, this particular morning after she led me to the fridge I realized I forgot to put her milk sippe back in the fridge the night before!!! OH NO!!! Mia was anxiously waiting and really thirsty. I couldn't have her wait while I scrubbed out her sipee so I quickly ran to her diaper bag and got out her water one. It was clean and empty so I just poured some milk into that and gave it to her. As soon as she saw the green lid she got MAD!!! She threw it on the ground and refused to hold it. Everytime I tried to hand it to her she would wave her hands back and forth frantically trying to knock it on the floor. She was upset, she thought she was getting her water instead of milk!!! I tried to convince her it was her milk but she didn't want anything to do with it. Finally I got her to take a small drink and when she realized it was milk she was happy and took off with it! I won't be doing that again! I guess she does know the difference... what a smart little baby haha

Well thats about it, hopefully I covered it all. I have a ton of pictures to upload too, hopefully I can get to that very soon. Well today Adrian has the day off so I am sure I will have more stories to tell. Especially since we are heading back to the mall again. Tomorrow will be a huge day, we are going back up to Oxnard for my Cousin Gina's wedding. I know for sure I will have stories after that one so I will see you then!!!
